Cloverdale Solar I

Profile: Approximately 7,600 high-efficiency, utility solar panels. Panels: 60-cell, poly-si Total capacity: 1.75 MW DC

Problem: Cloverdale was a landfill. Cycle (aka Natural Capital Partners) identified the land as a viable solar project site.

Solution: Cycle turned the landfill into a solar PV farm. We prospected and secured the land, applied for a conditional use permit, and executed a 20-year feed-in-tariff (FIT) power purchase agreement with PG&E.

Results: Today, Cloverdale Solar generates 2,700,000 kWh per year and offsets 6,000 pounds of CO2 annually under a 20-year power purchase agreement (PPA). Cyclerealized its investment after selling the project to Greenleaf-TNX (note). (note: Cloverdale I, LLC. (n.d.). Retrieved June 7, 2019.
